Thomson eXtreme|FV Filter Vials put multi-layer depth filtration inside a standard autosampler vial, turning particulate-laden or viscous samples into clean, ready-to-inject filtrate in ~15 seconds. First hydrolytic, Class A, Borosilicate Glass, amberized and considered low actinic. Use with aluminum or steel crimp caps for proper sealing. Compatible with Perkin Elmer, Tekmar and other Headspace autosamplers.

Vials and Inserts are made with first hydrolytic, Class A, Type-N51A Clear, Borosilicate Glass. The insert has a 300ul total fill volume and a 3ul residual volume for many autosamplers and autosampler needles. The Write-On Patch and fill lines are epoxy paint and will resist smearing when working with solvents. Use with 11mm aluminum crimp caps. These lower cost Fused Insert vials have serum finish tops that provide the best seal for chromatography, when used properly with correct aluminum crimp caps.

These vials are made from Type 1, Class B borosilicate glass. Their tooled necks ensure accurate fit with "snap-in" closures. They are ideal for storage of specimens and sample blocks. Comes with a closed bottom, two-piece closure.
